Mammut Freeride Collection Fall/Winter 2025: Where your line begins and freedom leaves no trace.
When the first fresh snow falls, the ascent becomes quieter, and the terrain lies untouched before you—a new chapter begins in the mountains. Winter calls—uncompromising, clear, and full of possibilities. Those who venture into the backcountry now know: the climb demands effort, the descent rewards it, and everything in between is pure focus on the moment. Between steep routes, changing weather, and deep powder, trust is essential. In yourself and in your gear.
August 6, 2025

The new Mammut Freeride Collection was developed for exactly these moments. For skiers and snowboarders who carve their own paths and want to earn their turns. It combines robust materials with thoughtful details: from ultralight helmets and avalanche backpacks to the weatherproof Haldigrat collection with a relaxed fit for maximum freedom of movement.
And because freedom requires responsibility, we always think safety first: probe, shovel, avalanche transceiver, and airbag backpack are, for us, the basic equipment—the “Essential 4” for every adventure in open terrain.

NEW: Haute Route MIPS Twiceme Helmet
The triple-certified Haute Route MIPS Twiceme Helmet was specifically designed for fast ski tours and versatile multisport adventures. Its hybrid construction combines a robust ABS hard shell combined with shock-absorbing EPP and EPS foam elements delivering optimal protection in a compact fit.
In emergencies, the integrated Twiceme® “Help The Helpers” technology offers vital advantages: after an accident, first responders and rescue personnel can instantly access critical medical information—such as blood type, allergies, pre-existing conditions, or emergency contacts—via an NFC chip (Near Field Communication). The data can be read offline with a smartphone and without an app, enabling rapid, targeted assistance even in areas without cell service.
For enhanced safety, the helmet is equipped with the Mips® Evolve Core system—an innovative technology designed to protect against angled impacts. Mips (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) uses a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows the shell to move slightly relative to the head. This controlled motion reduces rotational forces on the brain, which are a major cause of concussions or more severe brain injuries.
The sophisticated ventilation system, with large openings at the front and internal air channels, ensures effective cooling and helps prevent fogging of ski or MTB goggles during the ascent and the descent. The 360° adjustment system with a six-step adjustment dial allows for precise and comfortable fit for individual head shapes.
Additional features include a mount for a headlamp or ski goggles, removable and washable bamboo pads for comfort and everyday usability, and a lightweight beanie included for extra warmth. The Haute Route MIPS Helmet with Twiceme technology combines cutting-edge protective technology, high wearing comfort, recycled materials, and multisport versatility in an ultralight design.
Triple certified—CE EN 1077 (skiing), CE EN 12492(mountaineering and climbing), CE EN 1078 (cycling)—and approved for races by the ISMF (International Ski Mountaineering Federation).
